Stav Goldberg is a composer, pianist, and performing artist.

His live performances demonstrate an ability to compose complete and elaborate pieces of music in real-time, whether alone or with a group. His original compositions from his album “Symphony of Water” are about integrating the natural shapes of nature and water into the music.

His first album “Songs” (2020) which he composed and produced, gained the love of over 50,000 listeners and received countless praises in the media and on Israel radio. Critics have described his sound as an embodiment of beauty and flow in music.

Goldberg’s musical search has led him to his upcoming album “Symphony of Water”. The album expands and breaks the familiar musical boundaries, yet does it gently while maintaining the music's grace, naturalness, and pleasantness. Inspired by the sounds of nature, and the idea of beauty within chaos, Goldberg and his band let go of the "rules" of making music to create authentic, human beauty in sound.

Stav Goldberg was born on September 3, 1996, in Jerusalem, Israel. From age three, he showed a deep connection to music and began studying classical piano when he was seven. Six years later, he began studying composition with the late Israeli composer, André Hajdu. He later joined the Jerusalem Academy High School of Music and Dance while also studying with jazz pianist Omri Mor.

Upon finishing high school, he was chosen to play as a side man with several working bands, including the Daniel Zamir Project and the Yogev Shetrit Trio at Jazz concerts and festivals worldwide (Panama Jazz Fest, Kennedy Center, New Delhi Jazz Fest, etc)

In 2018, Goldberg went to join the New School University in NYC where he completed his BFA. While studying there he continued with his touring career.

In past years Goldberg has been working continuously touring and composing while perfecting his ability to perform full pieces of music spontaneously and composing for solo piano and ensemble. He is currently based in Berlin.
